Over her extensive 14 year career, LA based Maude Garrett has mastered traditional, digital and social media. She’s a beautiful, smart and funny TV Presenter, radio host, producer, MC, voice actor, moderator, content creator and video game streamer. Throughout 2020, Maude was the host of Rotten Tomatoes Watch List on Quibi, a streaming recommendations program airing Monday to Friday and she currently creates content for Nerdist and Red Bull from her LA Home studio.
After a successful career in Australian Television starting in 2006 and moving into radio to host the Hot 30 Countdown nationwide, Maude decided it was time to set her sights on the USA and moved to Los Angeles in 2013. As the host of The Hot Hits Live From LA, Maude was a staple at every major red- carpet premiere where she interviewed the world’s biggest stars including Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon.
She has spent the last 7 years dominating the entertainment space on Network & Cable Channels & Online Outlets like BBC America, Syfy, Nerdist, The Project Australia and New Zealand, Hoyts Australia, DC All Access and Rotten Tomatoes. Maude moved on from the glitz and glamor of Hollywood to focus on her true passion: being a gamer. Her dream came to fruition in 2015, when she became the host and manager of the popular online channel SourceFedNERD.
In 2017, her own channel Geek Bomb hit the milestone of 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and she’s recently brought to life her Role-Playing adventure Fungeons & Flagons reprising her renowned title as the Mauderator. The home of PW – Playing, Watching and Reading – Geek Bomb is all about unleashing your inner geek, letting your pop culture passions explode, and celebrating what gets your nerd heart racing. ‘Boss Bom Maude’ and her hand selected ‘Bomb Squad’ bring their hundred thousand fans the hottest news in geekdom, deliver original video content and podcasts – all in all celebrating how, in her own words, it’s “kickass it is to be a geek”.
Maude is versatile presenter, happy to stay in LA but keen to come back to Australia for the ‘right’ role. Thanks to the pandemic, she is able to continue to create and film content safely from her LA home studio.
